In order to set up a website you will need hosting along with a domain name. I purchased my domain name from http://www.namecheap.com/ and I haven't had any problems with them.

There are a lot of hosting companies out there and it's time consuming to read through reviews.
I'm going to link you to the hosting company I use which is http://iipanel.net/shared.htm
The 'iiSmall' plan is probably the best plan for you. It's only $3.95 a month and it comes with cPanel.
